Unfuture brings AI into the everyday work of mid-market companies. We connect strategy, enablement, platform rollout, and our own AI systems — not as separate disciplines, but as one end-to-end responsibility.
Alongside client projects, we build our own products in the Venture Studio. That keeps us close to real processes, real users, and the technical questions that start after the first prototype.
The role
You don't want to build demos. You want systems that run inside client processes, get measured, and can carry responsibility.
As an AI Software Engineer, you work on client projects and our own products. You connect LLMs, data, integrations, and interfaces into software people actually use.
Your responsibilities
- Client projects: Building AI agents, RAG systems, workflows, and integrations for real business processes.
- Product development: Contributing to our own AI products in the Venture Studio.
- Architecture: Helping shape the platform, data flows, evaluation, observability, and operating models.
- Knowledge sharing: Sharing what you learn so the team stays technically sharp and fast.
What you bring
- Broad full-stack experience (ideally senior level)
- Strong skills in agentic coding with tools like Cursor or Claude Code
- Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Experience with GenAI, prompt engineering, evaluation, and AI-enabled SaaS
- Fluent German and English
- A strong appetite for learning and experimentation
Your opportunity
You work directly with the founders and take on responsibility early. Alongside client projects, we build our own products as startups — with the option to take an entrepreneurial stake in the right opportunities.
Location
We work hybrid and are building teams in Hamburg and Bielefeld. You should be able to work on-site in one of these cities and enjoy regular team meetings.
